Robbie welcomed art into
his life in his earliest youth and continues to dedicate himself
to his craft. A graduate of the University of Georgia, his
talents were first rewarded in 1998 when Robbie was presented
with the "Georgia Artist of the Year Award" by the
Georgia Citizens of the Arts. Robbie has won numerous awards
since 1998, including "Best of Show" at the Georgia
State Fair, and "The People's Choice Award for Best in
Show" at the Dublin St. Patrick's Festival.
From his studio, Robbie works on many paintings with the rural
life theme. He was commissioned by local sponsors to
create a permanent "9/11" memorial. This
painting, titled "Pride of America", is on display at the Middle Georgia College in Dublin,
Georgia. |
